Group Systems Manager (SAP and Tagetik)
Tarsus Group is looking for a new Group Systems Manager to support our Finance team specifically with regards to the SAP ByDesign and Tagetik systems.
Overview of the role:
At the centre of Tarsus Group finance function are the core finance systems SAP ByDesign and Tagetik. This role is responsible for these systems, owning the relationship with 3rd Party consultants and leading digital transformation initiatives. This role reports to the Group Finance Controller and works closely with the Director of finance.
The role is expected to be hybrid being based in Hammersmith through October then Blackfrairs for three days a week.
This role is an integral part of the Group finance team and is ideal for a candidate wanting to driving automation forward, improve IT controls and reduce the workload in the business.
Specific responsibilities:
Month End:
- Maintain the chart of accounts and other dimensions across all systems to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Prepare month end rates and communicate to wider finance teams
- Maintain FX rates in systems
- Analyse intercompany balances and query mismatches
- Ensure all entities have submitted on a timely manner and follow up where required
- Ensure submissions are correctly loaded
- Collate monthly visitor numbers
- Collate monthly accounts receivable
- Review balance sheet submissions on a quarterly basis
Financial system stack:
- Ownership for the financial system stack
- Lead process improvements and financial system automation projects
- Maintain licence usage
- Build and maintain relationships with external consultants
- Manage external consultant delivery of services
- Own financial system support tickets
SAP:
- Distribute open items report monthly and assist in clearing these down where possible
- Maintain user accounts and customer/supplier data
- Deal with all SAP related queries
- Setting up new entities when required
- Improving overall processes and controls
Tagetik:
- Deal with all Tagetik related queries
- Build reports and own improvement of existing reports
- Maintain system licence usage
- Improving overall processes and controls
Essential Experience:
- Knowledge and experience of finance systems (SAP & Tagetik) preferred
